概述

This lecture aims to give an overview of current practical and theoretical knowledge for crystal science and practical use. The lecture will also introduce a recent stream of researches in organic solid-state photochemistry for asymmetric organic synthesis, as well as light-based nucleation and crystal growth of amino acids and proteins. Understanding this lecture requires a basic knowledge of organic chemistry, thermodynamics, and photochemistry, however, a review of basic thermodynamics will be refreshed first.

先修科目

The course is designed for students who know the introductory level of organic chemistry, thermodynamics, and photochemistry.
