This course aims to introduce the development process of the biotechnology industry, innovation and entrepreneurship issues of biotech firms, IPR of biotech commercialization, and strategic management choices in the biotechnology commercialization process. The knowledge gained in this course will provide students with a broad understanding of the biotechnology industry and its impact on society. The target audience includes graduate students from all of the disciplines at the NCTU. Students who have background knowledge of biotechnology and the students enrolled in the venture innovation program (VIP) are strongly encouraged to take this course. The transferable skills learned from this course can be widely applied in analyzing the technology commercialization of high-tech sectors. 本課程為中文授課,介紹我國生物科技產業發展歷程、生技醫藥產業結構、生技研發成果商品化實務、以及國內外生技產業創新創業管理個案。課程進行包含講授、工作坊、外賓演講、桌遊、個案討論。歡迎管院學生、生物科技學院學生、VIP學程學生、跨域學程學生選修。
There are no specific pre-requested courses. 本課程對先修課程不特別要求,僅需對生物科技醫藥產業或科技產業管理個案探討有興趣。尤其歡迎生物科技學院學生、VIP學程學生選修
評量方式及作業:本課程不考試。期末評分方式包含 :個案導讀 (20%)、期中報告(30%)、期末報告 (30%)、課堂表現(20%) Evaluation and Grading Policy: Case Briefing (20%), Midterm Report (30%), in Class Performance (20%), Course Project & Final Report (30%) Pedagogy and other supplementary information (websites, TAs, handouts and/or databases): All of the course information and the handouts will be posted on E3.
