The purpose of this course is to prepare the students to write academic papers, such as research proposals, technical reports, abstracts, theses, and dissertations. The students will work closely with the instructor and classmates to develop the skills necessary to perform the writing tasks required in their academic and professional endeavors. This course is consisted of EIGHT-week face-to-face in-class meeting and SEVEN-week online learning (and Three-week holiday break). Video lectures will be assigned to students to watch during online learning weeks. After viewing assignments will be given to ensure the comprehension of the content on the videos.
Attendance, in-class participation 10 % Writing assignments 50 % Mid-term and final exam 40%
