Physics is ubiquitous. This course offers students the general concepts and principles in physics. It is a two-semester course. Physics(I) covers the topics of classical mechanics, oscillation and mechanical waves, and thermodynamics. Physics(II) contains electromagnetics, optics, and modern physics. Students will not only acquire the ability to solve physics-related problems but also see a clear map of physics so that they can appreciate the beauty of physics.

5 Exams: 20%x5=100% Class performance bonus: 3 points max. *Half of the exam questions are from the assigned homework. Details will be discussed in the first lecture.
