機械工程實驗(二)

The aim of the course is to provide an opportunity for DME students to practice the knowledge learned in class. Students in this class will perform totally 6 experiments under the mentoring of TAs and submission of a written report is required for every student after each experiment. Through a series of training scheduled in the course, we are expecting students to have solid hands-on experience and to be well-prepared for future career in engineering. 本課程是機械學門學生對已修讀過的課程,作綜合性的了解與實踐。實驗內容有6大項目,由研究生擔任助教工作,教師全程在旁督導協助進行,每組同學必須做出具體結果並獨力書寫報告。希望學生能將課本上所學習之知識轉化成具體實驗結果,養成手腦並用的習慣,為工程師生涯立下紮實的基礎。

Physics、Thermodynamics、Fluid Mechanics、Heat transfer

The training throughout the semester includes the topic on “Computational Fluid Dynamics” and 5 experiments. Students are divided into two big groups and each group consists of 5 sub-groups. Each big group attends the class once every two weeks and each sub-group takes turn performing experiments in the week. All students are required to attend the safety education in the first week. Students will be forbidden to step in the lab if he or she is late or wears improper clothes, which will result in deduction on the grade. 有計算流力CFD及5大項實驗項目,修課學生分成10組,各組每週輪作;所有修課學生務必準時參加實驗課之安全衛生講習,遲到或缺習者不得進入實驗室;平時上課遲到者將視情節扣總成績。

Homework作業:Weekly preview reports and result reports每週上課須繳交預習報告及上次實驗之結果報告;Assessment評量:Experiment operation實驗操作 & Reports實驗報告: total 60%、Final exam期末考:40%(100% in total.綜合評定共100%)。
