This course aims to teach students the fundamental principles and concepts of heat transfer. The emphasis of this course will be on the understanding of the three modes of heat transfer, namely conduction, convection and radiation. Students will gain the ability to apply basic heat transfer concepts and principles in analyzing and solving engineering problems involving heat transfer processes.
