“A Computational Journey Towards Humanities and Creativity” are a series of courses held in a combination of lectures and workshops, guiding students step-by-step through theory and practice to develop hardcore interdisciplinary abilities. The first half of this semester will begin with Graph Theory, followed by applications of graphs in the fields of arts, humanities, and creativity. In the second half, workshops dedicated to projects equipped with Knowledge Graphs will be held to further challenge the imagination and technology awareness. Computational thinking is a key competence of interdisciplinary workers in the 21st century, and it has a variety of possibilities when it extends to the fields of art, humanity, and creativity. This course is designed to guide students to become future talents equipped with trainings in both computational thinking and humanities and will be taught by teachers with distinctive expertise in theory and practice. Each semester different topics are selected to stimulate students' ability of interdisciplinary thinking and practice. Possessing the readiness of tools and literacy, students will be able to face the challenges of interdisciplinary creativity on the higher level.
