使用者經驗研究與設計

This course aims to provide students with HCI related study about theories and thinking foundations in regarding to the research issues of the immersive mediated environment. Starting from virtual immersion experience, the course contents are divided into three parts: Design for Emotion, Design for Cognition, and Design for Experience. Students in this class will be required to independently explore research issues based on the theories tough in the class and to complete a publishable research paper at the end of the semester.

Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction or related courses

Students are expected to complete the weekly reading assignments prior to the class meetings. Please see below for the weekly readings. If you expect to miss class or arrive late, please let the instructor know in advance. Only TWO absences are allowed. 課程進行方式以每週的指定教科書及印發之指定閱讀為主軸 (指定閱讀一篇 參考閱讀一篇 共兩篇),或加入研究論文補充其他無法涵蓋的議題。上課時以問答方式討論該週上課的內容,由老師隨機抽點同學回答,並依據回答的情況進行評分。請同學務必完成課前指定閱讀以利討論。

All assignments in this class are individual projects 1. Required readings & leading discussion (15%) 2. Research Prospectus (15%) 3. Mid-term (30%): First three sessions of a manuscript – Intro, Literature review, Methodology 4. Final project and report(40%): Full paper format

There is no class textbook in this class. All requirement readings will be provided by the instructor.
