概述

Independent Study on Design (ISD) serves to guide graduate students in their creation and research. Students are required to come up with their own research methods through literature analysis, as well as examine their own creative and research contexts to link with relevant theories. The course is mainly conducted through three phases: 本課程以指導生個人創作與研究為主要研討內容,透過爬梳自身創作脈絡,分析濃縮出與作品並行的創作論述,最終作為論文之綱要。 1. Construction of research method. 研究方法建構 2. Linkage between creative practice and theoretical development. 藝術實踐與個人論述發展之連結 3. Literature discussion and thesis writing for research direction. 相關文獻與論文寫作討論 Designate relevant literature reading according to a student’s direction in their creation and research, examine the context between themselves and related creators/researchers, discover differences, and form awareness of the main problems in the paper. Write a research paper or creative discourse 8,000-15,000 words in length mainly in English, which will be published in the classroom for discussion and used for practice in using spoken English to publish findings.
