概述
人文社會科學的知識在二戰後產生鉅大的變化,關於這個世界的知識深深地被納入冷戰格局下重新組織並給予新的意義。在東西對峙的戰略需要上,(社會)科學的知識被動員起來,做為了解「敵人」及建穜新世界秩多的工具。知識生產進入冷戰典範,透過基金會贊助-國家統籌的新生產模式,新的知識生產成為美國外交政策和軍事佈署的智庫與後盾。冷戰下的知識生產體現在戰後社會學科的重組、現代化理論的高漲以及區域研究的盛行等方面。本課程是一冷戰文化生產系列課程的首發,我們將概論性地介紹冷戰下以美國為中心的知識生產。課程主旨在了解這個議題的問題意識和相關的研究文獻,最後我們也會淺略中港台相關的議題。
