N/AWith an emphasis on cinematic aesthetics and their political and philosophical implications, the course leads students to examine how the process of globalization engages with different cinematic genres. Students will be exposed to important Sinophone films and their related issues in order to strengthen cultural literacy in general. The concepts learned in the class will help them understand the world in a globalized context, and think comparatively and critically.
