概述
心智科學以經驗科學的研究方式探究人類與動物的各種心智現象為研究主題,如注意、決策、學習、知覺、意識與自我等。隨著人類科技與學術研究文化的演變,心智科學所使用的經驗科學研究方法也越來越繁複且牽涉到不同領域的技術、儀器、方法學、計算工具、與概念等。此課程將以心智科學的科學家們、科學活動、科學文獻、科學社群等作為研究與分析對象,探討心智科學研究背後的一些方法學議題。
教學方式
本課程的目標是幫助學生發展出以哲學方式思考問題的能力、以論證支持或反對某個主張的能力、閱讀與分析英文著作的能力、口語陳述個人意見與參與團體討論的能力、以及撰寫學術論文的能力。
