概述

* capabilities of circuit analysis - finding all node-voltages in an RLC-ckt at all operational conditions - finding all loop-currents in an RLC-ckt at all operational conditions * grasping of RLC circuit behaviors: - DC/AC responses; - frequency-selective responses; - roles in circuit modules of specific functions.

no TA available in this class - the instructor will personally scrutinize all the written tests - for any questions encountered in the class, come directly to the instructor.

評分方式

* a series of subjects in electrical circuits will be imparted at due time as the course proceed; - no specific reading instructions will be given (e.g., reading a certain sections/chapters of the textbook; the class members will have to read the textbook and auxiliary/supplemental materials, on one's own, for any information deemed as required when solving the problems. - no homework assignments will be given; the class members are encouraged to go through all the exercises in the textbook, try figuring out the technical issues behind the exercises. * the grading depends entirely on two factors 1]- as many as 7 or more written tests will be given, which will be open-book and - one may bring as much referential materials as one needs, all have to be in hard-copy forms; - the use of electronic devices of any kinds are strictly prohibited; - the best, say 4 or 5, of all written tests will be taken into account in final evaluation. 2]- interactions in the class will also be highly regarded in final evaluation.
