The objective of this course is to provide an overview of Management Information System, understand the impact of information systems on organizational structure, and describe the activities associated with managing information system infrastructures for contemporary businesses.
No course pre-requisites needed to enroll in this course.
1. Homework and Assignments: Group Case Study, Final Assignment. 2. Exams and Quizzes: Pop Quiz, Midterm Exam, and Final Exam. 3. Pedagogy and other supplementary information: websites, TAs, handouts, videos, and guest speaking.
Attendance & Participation 20%, Midterm Exam 15%, Final Exam 15%, Final Assignment 15%, Group Presentation 15% (Peer Review 50%), Case Study 15%, Reflection on Guest Speaking 5%. (Bonus Points) Pop Quizzes
