課程概述與目標:Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system—including structures (Gross and microscopic), interneuron network and their functions. In this course, the student should learn how the nervous system develops and function normally. Several neurological disorders and diagnostic tools are discussed. We shall arrange hospital-visiting for electrodiagnostic lab. & neuroimage study. 目標: 1. 同學們對神經系統的結構、生理及功能有基本的認識 2. 依生理功能的知識, 說明目前檢查儀器於臨床應用的情形 (如: 神經速度、EEG, 肌電圖、各項的誘發電位檢查), 並探討未來的發展方向 3. 安排一次醫院檢查室之實地參訪, 同學親身體會並討論 4. 課堂中會介紹部分常見神經系統疾病, 如: 腦中風, 阿滋海默症(失智症) 及帕金森氏症
