This course aims to develop the basic academic knowledge of financial accounting and credit risk for students by introducing several academic papers in accounting, finance, and management fields. The course contents include: (1) introducing some classical and recent empirical researches related to financial accounting and credit risk; (2) providing the logics and economic implications of the papers for students; (3) requiring students to propose an interesting and innovative proposal about financial accounting and credit risk; (4) enhancing the students’ academic understandings of financial accounting and credit risk. The course is useful in the academic ability development of financial accounting and credit risk.
