This course comprises introduction to patent, patent indicator, patent valuation, patent infringement, innovation strategy, etc. This is a course for students to learn how to conduct patent-based study and extend from traditional patent analytics to advanced innovation research based on the interdisciplinary nature of patent document. The course aims to help student understand how patent can be linked to diverse innovation strategies in a broad sense and explore how patent-based innovation strategy can be obtained through interdisciplinary perspectives.
