It is about how an interaction designer might start with a single idea and then continually evolve, shape, and develop. Prototyping is the activity of exploring a design space and developing design ideas. The common prototyping techniques include scribble sketching, photo traces, paper prototype, storyboards with a series of scenes, a PowerPoint slide show, cardboard mock-up, video prototype simulating user scenarios, or digital prototype with limited functionality. In the first part of this course, we will explore issues surrounding the practices of Design guidelines review to familiar with fundamental UI. For the second part, a prototype construction of a 360 Virtual Campus project will be carried out to practice the concept learned on the previous part. Finally, each team will focus on conducting a usability study as the final project to evaluate a selected AR application.
Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction User Experience Research & Design
