現代?物學研究和新實驗技術常常會產??量的實驗數據,因此???世紀的?物學教育必須加強運?電腦與資訊軟體的能?。 本課程使主修?命科學的?學?獲得基本?物資訊學概念,具體?標是有能?獨?運?現有軟體?具分析數據,更進?步能與資訊專業領域的??合作解決?物問題。 本課程著重在介紹軟體?具的原理,以及如何解釋軟體產?的結果。並非實驗或實習, 因此不會強調軟體或網站的操作。本課程不需程式設計基礎。Preparing students for facing the complex data sets of today's life science research has been a major emphasis of biology education. The aim of the course is thus to convey the fundamentals of bioinformatics to life science students, and to communicate the computational ideas behind key methods in bioinformatics. It is believed that once the computational ideas are grasped, students will be able to use existing bioinformatics tools more e?ectively, and perhaps to communicate better with computational scientists.
