經濟學

本課程將著重介紹個體經濟學及總體經濟學中的基本概念。課程從介紹消費者理論開始,內容包括個人如何通過效用最大化來做決策。從供給方面,我們分析了企業如何在不同的市場結構下做出決策,市場結構包含完全競爭市場,壟斷市場,寡佔市場和壟斷性競爭市場。總體經濟學則涵蓋了GDP的計算、GDP的定義及其應用、貨幣政策、財政政策和匯率等主題。This course concentrates on basic topics in microeconomics and macroeconomics. We start by introducing consumer theories. This includes how individuals make decision by maximizing utility. From the supply side, we analyses how firms make decision under different market structures. The market structures that will be covered includes perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly and monopolistic competition. For macroeconomics, we cover topics on how to calculate GDP, meaning of GDP and its applications, monetary policy, fiscal policy and exchange rate.

(2) This course places particular emphasis on when and how the government should intervene in the market system from a public policy perspective, and analyzes its impact. (3) This course will cover the basic concepts of macroeconomics.
