生物相容性為決定生醫材料使用效能之最關鍵因素,而材料生物相容性則由其表面性質所主導。本課程透過材料表面性質, 檢測方法, 及修飾處理技術之介紹,尤其強調在生醫材料之應用,目標在協助學生建立相關之必要基礎知識,以為後續進一步從事生醫材料開發之用。Biocompatibility, which is mainly determined by the surface properties of a material, is the most crucial factor affecting the performance of a biomaterial. This course aims to help students building fundamental knowledge on surface science by introducing the features of material surfaces and various surface characterization and modification methods with the emphasis on their biomedical applications and to provide students with essential background for the development of biomaterials.
