在有限資源下,決策者在選擇治療方案時,除了療效考量,亦需考量病人生活品質及成本等面向,近年來醫療經濟評估(如成本效益分析)被廣泛運用來協助決策者衡量醫療科技的價值並進行資源分配。本課程內容旨在介紹醫療經濟評估的方法及應用,並藉由實例探討帶領學生了解醫療經濟評估在真實世界中如何應用於政策決策的輔助。課程中並將介紹如何實際進行醫療經濟評估,配合Excel及R軟體之操作,使學生能融會理論與實務,習得醫療經濟評估決策分析的能力。With limited resources, decision makers need to take into account not only the efficacy of intervention but also patient’s quality of life and cost while making resource allocation decisions. In recent years, health economic evaluations (such as cost-effectiveness analysis) have been widely used to assist decision makers to evaluate the value of health technology or intervention and to inform resource allocation decisions. This course aims to introduce the methods and applications of health economic evaluation, and to lead students to understand how health economic evaluation can be used as an aid to policy decision makers in the real world through real cases sharing. The course will also illustrate how to conduct health economic evaluation using Excel and R software, so that students can integrate theory and practice, and acquire the skill of health economic evaluation model building.
(1) 運用實例使學生認識醫療經濟評估在醫療資源配置決策中的角色;(2) 介紹醫療經濟學評估常見的方法與如何解讀及應用於決策輔助; (3) 配合電腦軟體實作培養學生建立決策模型的技能和解釋結果的能力。(1) To orient students to the role of health economic evaluation in decision making related to health care resources allocation; (2) To introduce students to various methods for the health economic evaluation; (3) To provide students with opportunities to develop the skills of building decision models and ability of interpreting results.
本課程之學習成效評量方式包括上課參與度(30%)、小組電腦實習作業(30%)、小組期末報告(40%)。 Participation (30%), computer practical assignments (30%), Group report (40%).
