概述

Electromagnetic theory is the study of electric and magnetic fields and signals in space and time. It is essential to various applications in electrical engineering. This course will present a unified approach to electromagnetic theory based on postulates. The concept of fields (spatial distribution of physical quantities) and important mathematic tools are emphasized. Electrostatic and magnetostatic fields in space are then discussed. Time-varying fields, Maxwell’s equations, and signals in transmission lines will be introduced briefly at the end of the semester. This course will be divided into three modules and taught by three teachers respectively. All classes will have the same materials, schedules, and grading policy. Computer software (Matlab) will be utilized in the course to enhance the learning process.

110學年第二學期電磁學課程須知: 1. 以D.K. Cheng, “Field and Wave Electromagnetics,” 2nd Ed., 1989為課本。 2. 學期成績以三次考試合計佔比100%。每一次模組考試結束後將公布分數分佈。學期成績以三次原始模組分數相加後,期末統一調分。 3. 課程題庫以課本習題(教科書後面的題目,含計算題、問答題)為主,Matlab實作由各授課老師規劃。 4. 考題以英文出題,型式包含觀念題、計算題、問答題、選擇題等,以會考形式統一進行。 5. 上課方式及講義由授課老師自訂。 6. 中午時段(n):12:40~13:10由助教負責。如須變動,將於前一週由授課老師公告。 7. 中午時段(n)助教工作: 重點複習、習題講解、Matlab實作。 8. 課程加簽: 每班人數以100人,加簽以20人為限。同學加簽請統一找系辦助理:鄭浴如yujucheng@nycu.edu.tw, 分機54075,由課程召集人統一處理。

評分方式

學期作業 - 課程題庫以課本習題(教科書後面的題目)為主 - Matlab示範及實作依實際授課進度實施 考試狀況 - 三次考試(每個模組各一次) 評量方法: - 學期成績: 三次考試合計占比100 % - 調分方式: 三次考試原始分數相加後,期末統一調分 - 每一次考試結束後,公布考試分數分佈 - 考題以英文出題,包含觀念題、計算題、問答題、選擇題等,以會考形式統一進行
