Learn to program in MATLAB, a very popular programming language in many domains, such as deep learning, computer graphics, medical simulation, physics simulation and so on. In the courses, some problems will be demonstrated to be solved in Matlab.
This course is an introduction to Matlab. Know basic idea about computer programming (not required). Know linear algebra but not required.
1) Teaching basic concepts. 2) Demo programs. 3) Exercises. The teacher will introduce basic concepts. Then use demo programs to show the concepts clearly. Students should work on exercises to understand the concepts. Students are encouraged to solve some maths problems by using Matlab.
Programming assignments and lab exercises: 30% Two midterm exams (on-site programming tests): 15% + 20% Final exam (on-site programming test): 35%
