(Course Description & Objectives): The third book not only focuses on spoken language training, but also begins to move from long dialogues to written language and text training. In addition, this course will enrich students' vocabulary through diverse topics and strengthen communication skills.

Finish <A Course in Contemporary Chinese> I ,<A Course in Contemporary Chinese>II and III, L1-L6 NOTE: Students who attend from the start will have priority to be accepted.

Reminders: 1. For effective learning, students are required to hand write the vocabulary (Chinese characters) in every lesson for multiple times to achieve familiarity. 2. Students should take the initiative to apply what have learned in class to daily conversations. 3. Regular attendance is required, and students who have more than 5 unexcused absences will be failed. A total absence of 1/3 of course hours will lead to an automatic failure.

Evaluation: Attendance and Participation: 30% Homework and Quizzes: 30% Midterm Exam (oral and written): 20% Final Exam (oral and written): 20%
