人類學的親屬與性別研究,是一個既古典又新穎,有知識創造及想像空間的當代人類學課題。這門功課的目標在於,通過閱讀及討論,對於人類學親屬與性別研究的知識創造,及轉變歷程;親屬研究的基本概念、理論、研究方法;親屬研究的生物與文化的對話;親屬與性別的相互建構;新的家庭型態及新形成的家人關係;親屬與國家政治的關聯等議題的討論、理論觀點的對話,能有基本的掌握。在這門親屬與性別研究的課堂上,選擇不同文類與風格的親屬研究作為我們共同的閱讀,是老師有意的安排。希望同學通過閱讀,瞭解當代人類學親屬與性別研究,在人類學學術研究與民族誌書寫上所展現的創造性。 這門功課在進行上,包括了閱讀、討論、個案分析、小型研究等四種學術行動,以此來靠近親屬與性別的研究。如同我們都在文化中,親屬與性別,對於人類學的學生或老師,也是我們生活熟悉的(有時甚至是想抗拒的),不易分離的部份。在這門課上,將轉為我們分析觀察及討論的概念及對象。為了有能力面對將親屬與性別概念化的知識處境,我們學習基礎的親屬概念、知識,與親屬研究法。並將通過親屬與性別的民族誌書寫, 瞭解人類學新的理論觀點與知識,與古典親屬與性別研究概念對話。經由不同層次的學習,同學們所儲備的能量,將發揮在你們個人的小型親屬研究,以及未來的碩博士論文的研究裡。 如果你能踏入親屬與性別研究的土壤,相信你就會"迷上"人類學的民族誌研究,這條讓你難忘的知性與感性之路。
與人類學、性別研究有關
這是一門結合授課、閱讀、討論、小型研究的課程。每位選課的同學,須積極參與閱讀、報告、討論、提問,並在老師指導下,以執行一小型的親屬與性別的田野研究及書寫。
(1)、選課同學需積極參與課堂討論及報告(佔成績15%)。 (2)、小型研究計劃書書寫與口頭報告 (佔成績30%)。 (3)、自選主題並有實際親屬與性別田野資料之蒐集,描寫,分析與闡述的研究報告。老師會在小型研究過程中。提供所需的指導。書寫格式、文獻與書目的引用,請符合學術期刊編輯格式的要求。字數約6,000-8,000字(佔成績55%,含書寫與口頭報告)。
