This course covers the required techniques such as the circuit modeling, numerical methods and algorithms for simulating, verifying and optimizing the electronic and electric circuits. It provides both the theoretical background and practical aspects for the junior, senior, and graduate students. The course starts with the electrical/electronic fundamentals for modern circuit simulation, and, then focuses on the DC/transient/sensitivity analysis of linear/nonlinear circuits. Finally, several of the most recent simulation techniques including, but not limited to, harmonic balance methods, and model order reduction techniques will be explored.
