“In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis is escalated or de-escalated, and a person is humanized or de-humanized. If we treat people as they are, we make them worse. If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming.” - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe COURSE DESCRIPTION This course is a leadership course aimed at cultivating effective communication and resolving conflicts. Whether facing family, peers, and colleagues, one's leadership depends on whether one can do so. Since ancient times, in the face of conflict, no matter the details of daily life to international wars, the instinct is to fight, flee or freeze. In the face of impending emotions, how to effectively exert positive communication is what modern people need most. Whether through technological media or face-to-face, as long as you want people to cooperate, you must understand the basic elements of effective communication. However, the development of communication and leadership is by no means accidental. It requires repeated practice and precise guidance, and the use of heart and intelligence. Through the heart, empathize with each other's value; through cognition, check each other's observations, and then make positive requests. Good communication relies on good strategies. The reason for constant conflicts is that people are too accustomed to "bad" strategies. To build a good relationship, you must start by respecting yourself and respecting each other. Only in this way can we inspire each other's willingness to show our best in the relationship and make the positive relationships last.
