This course introduces students to the theory, practice, issues, and research in sustainable development in technology and innovation management. Students will be exposed to the concepts, theoretical foundations, policies, issues, and practices of sustainability and technology management. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to define the 2030 sustainable development agenda; articulate issues and sustainable practices in technology and innovation management; and construct a report related to the practice of sustainable development in technology and innovation management. The course includes lectures, case studies, seminars, in-class discussion and exercises, filed trips, readings, presentations, and project writing.

Students are required to actively participating in in-class discussion and writing reflective homework after some classes. Students are also required to submit and present a mid-term report in the middle of the semester, and a final group report and present the report before the end of the semester. The is no examination in this course. Class participation (20%), Mid-term report and presentation (30%), Final Report and Presentation (50%)
