(1) Students should always bring pens, pencils, paper notebooks or loose-leaf paper to keep notes or learning records. To achieve better learning results, students are encouraged to bring laptops and tablets to access to online teaching materials in the classroom, or print them out and bring to the classroom, rather than using cell phones. Absence may be authorized under exceptional circumstances, if a proof of justifiable reason can be provided. Being late for each period of class for over 15 minutes, or leaving without notice is considered absence. Both lateness and absence will make you lose points in 'attendance' category. Presentations should be made according to the date you sign up, and you cannot make up the presentation if you miss it. If you have any problem with the presentation date, please come to fix the date beforehand. Absence cannot be an excuse of not knowing assignment submission or deadline.
