醫學倫理學

現代醫學理論及醫學相關科技的發展迅速,使得目前的醫學倫理已超越單純的醫病關係,同時需面對種種由科技及社經發展後所衍生的醫學倫理議題與困境;因此醫學倫理之觀念有待重新探討與評價。又因高齡化社會的來臨,治療高齡失能患者不僅挑戰新世代的醫療科技,亦涉及社會福利、社會倫理、扶養安全、社會法律等倫理相關議題;因此醫學倫理教育在專業養成過程亦扮演重要角色。本課程透過課堂講授、電影賞析及小組案例討論等方式,探討下述醫學倫理重要課題,包含:醫學倫理學基本原則、醫療的權利與責任關係、物理治療專業倫理與行為指引、臨床試驗相關倫理議題、醫療資訊隱私保護與醫療照護資訊管理、老人照護/安寧緩和療護/安樂死、生殖相關(墮胎、人工生殖)、器官捐贈與勸募,以及醫療資源分配正義等議題。同時將透過「小組案例討論二:物理治療相關倫理議題」之單元設計相關教案,來探討自費市場與健保或長照2.0制度並存下所衍生的種種專業價值、倫理或利益衝突問題。The rapid advancement of medical theory and medical technology has made the modern medical ethics to become more complex and dilemmatic beyond the boundary of simple physician-patient relationship. Obviously, the concepts of medical ethics need to be re-examined. Due to the advent of an aging society, the philosophy for treating old disabled patients not only challenge the current medical technology, but also raise ethical issues such as social welfare, social ethics, support security, and social law; therefore, medical ethics education plays an important role in the professional development process. This course explores the following important topics regarding medical ethics through lectures, movie watching and small-group case discussions. The agenda includes: Basic principles of medical ethics, Medical rights and responsibilities, Professional ethics and conducts of physical therapy, Ethical issues related to clinical trials, Privacy protection and disclosure management of medical information, Care for the elderly/ hospice palliative care/ euthanasia, Reproduction-related issues (abortion, artificial reproduction), Organ donation and procurement, as well as Distributive justice of medical resources.

1.認識醫學倫理學,激發學生對醫病相關倫理議題的敏銳覺察與人文關懷。 2.熟悉倫理學基本原則與觀念,反省並遵守個人與專業的道德規範,澄清自己與別人的價值觀。 3.明辨臨床情境中常遭遇的倫理困境,學習邏輯性與批判性思考;由科學及實證角度審視倫理抉擇,培養道德推理能力。 4.整合倫理學、哲學、社會學及相關法律知識,體認在臨床醫學照護工作中應有的倫理素養與實踐。1.To have a basic understanding about medical ethics and generate students' keen awareness and humanistic concern about medical ethics-related issues. 2.To be familiar with the basic principles and concepts of ethics, reflect on and abide by the ethics of individuals and professions, and clarify the values of themselves and others. 3.To identify the ethical dilemmas often encountered in clinical situations, and learn logical and critical thinking; to examine ethical choices from a scientific and empirical perspective, and develop moral reasoning skills. 4.To integrate ethics, philosophy, sociology and relevant laws into daily clinical practice and clinical decision-making.
