針對已修習生物化學、分子生物學、細胞生物學,甚至遺傳學概論的學生,安排基礎醫學遺傳學課程,讓學生了解人類遺傳疾病傳遞模式的判斷、細胞遺傳學與分子生物學診斷、遺傳疾病的治療、與預防、諮詢、倫理相關議題。課程內容包含:本課程內容不求多,而以能夠與基礎生物化學、分子生物學、細胞生物學,以及現今國際同業狀態銜接,因此保留部分課堂時間,由同學的提問即時進行相關細節連結與說明,以期學生可以真正的了解該知識在醫學遺傳學中的角色,進而得以應用與發揮。
期中、期末考各占50%.
