概述

本課程主要介紹細胞生物學研究的基本技術,內容包括:細胞培養、免疫轉漬與免疫螢光染色、冷凍切片與組織染色技術、雷射共軛焦顯微鏡操作、電子顯微鏡基本原理、影像拮取與影像分析、實驗動物模式、細胞存活和細胞死亡檢測、實驗動物模式、胞器的分離與標示、核酸純化與融合蛋白質的應用、分子選殖、反轉錄聚合?鏈反應與基因誘變、蛋白質與核酸的相互作用、轉染與基因傳遞技術。上課方式以課堂講授基本原理與方法一小時,實驗示範或儀器實際操作二小時。The contents of this course encompass primary tissue culture and culture of established cell line, paraffin and cryostat sectioning, immunocytochemistry and in situ hybridization, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, electronic microscopy, image analysis and image processing, flow cytometry and cell sorting, experimental animal models, cell survival and cell death assays, staining for organelles, DNA and mRNA purification, molecular cloning (recombinant DNA and genome-editing), PCR (RT- and real time PCR) and mutagenesis, protein-protein interaction and fusion proteins, protein-DNA interaction (EMSA, chromatin IP, oligoprecipitation, and footprinting), and gene delivery techniques (transformation, transfection, and infection). The course format consists of one hour of theory lecture and two hours of laboratory work.

認識細胞生物學基本實驗技術並熟悉各種儀器設備在生物醫學研究上的應用。This course will familiarize students with the application of basic cell biology techniques to address topics of current interest to scientists in biomedical sciences.

評分方式

期中(50%)與期末(50%)報告各一。Student performance will be evaluated through one midterm (50%) and one final (50%) reports.
