概述

This course is designed to introduce students in various backgrounds to the use of modern techniques in synthetic bioloy. The fundamentals as well as their application to the solution of different problems are discussed. This course shows how interdisciplinary approaches and techniques can be used to handle needs in constructing various genetic circuits. Basic concepts and methods of synthetic biology are presented and discussed in the classes.

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the current iGEM synthetic biology projects.
