The course’s comprehensive lectures will begin from the basics of measuring health and disease in populations including demography, life table, and health indicators, and move on to the concepts of summary measures. The course will consist of lectures, homework, and student presentations. There will be no examinations in this course.
This course is intended to provide students with a thorough and comprehensive understanding of measuring health at the population level. Through learning from the course, students will be able to apply knowledge for further use in research or practice.
