臨床藥物學

本課程將介紹藥物分類以及藥物之生理基礎,瞭解人體服用、吸收、儲存以及代謝藥物的機轉,特別強調與物理治療介入對象相關之藥物,評估藥物副作用並與患者疾病之症狀做區辨。瞭解特殊藥物之間的交互作用,以及其對物理治療介入之影響,進而在考量患者服用之藥物,而安排適當的物理治療。另外,針對運動員禁藥、促進傷口癒合、降低感染、癌症治療等用藥,也將予以介紹。除了課堂授課以外,並藉由個案分析與討論,增加學生將知識應用於臨床的能力。This course will present the primary drug classes and the physiologic basis of their action. Drugs will be grouped according to their general effects and the type of disorders they are routinely used to treat. Special emphasis will be placed on drugs that are commonly used to treat people receiving physical therapy interventions. This course will address how drug therapy interacts with physical therapy, and how drugs can exert beneficial effects as well as adverse side effects that impact on physical therapy intervention. Dopping in athletes, drugs for wound healing, infection, cancer chemotherapy. In addition, through participating in a group project, the student’s ability of practical application of pharmacological knowledge to clinical settings will be enhanced.

學生在修習完本課程後,應具有以下能力: (1) 瞭解藥物的分類。(2) 瞭解人體服用、吸收、儲存以及代謝藥物的機轉。(3) 比較個別藥物之生理機轉對身體各器官之影響。(4) 評估藥物副作用並與患者疾病之症狀做區辨。(5) 瞭解特殊藥物之間的交互作用,以及其對物理治療介入之影響。(6) 考量患者服用之藥物,而安排適當的物理治療。(7) 了解多重用藥對高齡者認知、精神狀態與體力/肌力的影響。Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: (1) Understand the classification of drugs (2) Understand how drug effects are influenced by their administration, absorption, distribution, storage, and metabolism in the human body(3) Compare the physiological mechanisms by which individual drugs affect the different organ systems in the body (4) Evaluate drug side effects and differentiate these side effects from the symptoms of the patient’s diseases (5) Understand the potential for harmful interactions between specific drugs and various physical therapy interventions (6) Design physical therapy interventions in accordance with the patient’s drug regimen.(7) Understand the effects of multiple medications on cognitive, mental and physical status in older adults
