This seminar course is the first in the two-course sequence covering contemporary international health issues through guided paper reading and progress report of own thesis research. Its goal is to enable students to be familiar with research issues related to population health around the world, to generate research ideas and prepare thesis, and to provide constructive feedback and discussion. At the completion of this course, the students will be able to: Present paper/research logically Identify research issues related to the student’s selected fields of public health Provide constructive feedback and critique to others’ presentation Define issues related to global population health
