概述

This course aims to improve students’ speaking ability and build their confidence when speaking in professional settings. Another goal of this course is to enhance students’ English oral proficiency and presentation skills. This course will begin with the basics of public speech and then progress to methods for academic conference presentations. Throughout the course and in the exam weeks there will be opportunities for students to practice speeches and presentations in front of the whole class. The instructor will also provide training in listening and speaking skills using a variety of topics that highlight different features of English.
