概述
鑒於台灣與香港特殊的地緣政治關係,本課程嘗試將兩地放在一個比較框架下,以檢視這個特殊連帶下各自的社會、文化與政治發展歷程,以及實際與可能的歷史命運交疊。 本課程由兩位授課老師擔綱,莊雅仲教授台灣的文化政治與社會運動發展,特別討論社運動員、社區認同與世界生成的三個面向。莊雅仲的《民主台灣: 後威權時代的社會運動與文化政治》(2014)由香港中文大學出版社發行,出版過程曾受到香港文化與社運界人士指教,提出許多有關兩地的比較批判觀點,因此也將談論成書之後到現在八年,這些讀者比較觀點如何放在後來的歷史過程中加以檢視。 容邵武長年在兩地交錯田野,因此會著重討論兩地的歷史與地緣關連。台灣與香港的地方社會、政治結構,文化活動等在經歷殖民統治、現代化、新一波全球化的改變,值得我們去探討這些歷史過程與力量帶給二地何種變化,這些現象導致表面上是公民社會組織、社會運動的不斷重組,但是其實是更關鍵的是關於認同、以及未來的文化想像。最後我們將探討二地狀況又可以帶來甚麼樣的政治與理論的反省。
