概述
Provide the fundamental knowledge of the composite Materials. The mechanical behavior of the composites will be also presented in the class.

- Micromechanical analysis of composites
- Analysis of lamina Stress, strain and equations for orthotropic materials (Elasticity) Lamina analysis, Laminated plate theory, Thermal stress effect.
- Experimental Characterization of Composite Materials, Tensile Properties, Compressive properties, Fracture Testing.
- Failure analysis for composites, Maximum stress criterion, Maximum strain criterion, Hill-Tsai criterion, Tsai-Wu criterion, Laminate strength analysis.
- Transverse vibration of composite materials Transverse vibration of laminated plates
