本課程目標在讓同學了解基礎統計概念及健康科學領域常用的統計分析方法。首先介紹醫學研究常用研究設計、取樣方法及資料結構、包括假說驅動(hypothesis-driven)與資料驅動(data-driven)研究之特性與注意事項。統計分析內容包括資料整理與敘述、統計推論概念、平均值與比例值的比較、及線性迴歸模式。學生需有能力使用統計計算工具,應用上述所學分析實際資料並判讀結果。

「實體」: 以實體教室上課為主。如因疫情得配合政策改為線上授課。 「同步線上」:因應疫情的實體替代授課方式。使用Webex, 連結另傳。學生須備視訊與音訊(仿實體教學)。可使用瀏覽器登入(不需下載軟體也可以觀看,分享功能可能不同),但手機觀看必須事先下載軟體。 「非同步線上」:補充講演或電腦軟體操作預錄,影片可於E3不限時段次數觀看 「Learning by doing sessions」或其他: 可能包括(A)即時線上問答, (B)題目演練: 分組活動/現場做題/檢討/上傳繳交, (C)資料分析相關活動等等
課堂出席參與, 作業, 分組報告, 期末考.
