概述
本課程上半學期著重於翻譯理論介紹與相關實作練習,下半學期的課程將結合翻譯與兒童文學理論,以各式童書繪本為例,探討兒童文學翻譯和改寫過程中所遭遇的種種議題,例如:譯者和編者的角色定位、題材選擇、語言與權力的掌握、文化差異和跨文化溝通、閱讀人口界定、分齡和跨齡閱讀、童書市場和商業利益等。透過課堂討論和實作練習,本課程將協助同學認識翻譯理論相關論述、理解兒童文學的譯寫策略並評價譯寫的品質,進而增進對翻譯工作的瞭解。

教學方式
本課程以中英雙語進行,除了教師講授基礎翻譯理論與翻譯策略之外,課堂亦安排實作練習與個案討論。此外,同學必須於期中進行分組口頭報告,期中報告內容為翻譯相關創意專題。
評分方式
