1.Understand what are signals and what are systems 2.Understand properties and tools used in continuous and discrete signals and systems 3.Understand various transformations that can help us to gain more insight of signals and systems from different viewpoints 4.To be familiar with Matlab, which is a powerful tool to analyze signals and systems
