概述
還在思考論文題目嗎?飲食也許是很好的文化研究題材。飲食研究原本就是一個需要高度跨學科研究的領域,它不只跨越人文社會的主要學科,還跨越人文與科學的領域。飲食的文化研究衍生於其他人文社會領域的飲食研究,又與不同,如飲食社會學、飲食人類學,飲食文化史、飲食文學等。如何以社會與文化理論來探索飲食的議題是本程的宗旨。課程不只會介紹文化研究主要觀點,也會研讀飲食文化的經典,進而從社會階級、性別、後殖民、移民和全球化、飲食政治、永續飲食等面向探索飲食文化的研究。課程目標在於透過研究文獻的閱讀與講解,讓學生了解上述研究領域主要議題、問題意識、流派爭議、研究方法。

出席與討論:40%,期末作業:請任選一個主題撰寫一篇報告,呈現上課所學習的內容(約八千到一萬字)60%。
