1. AI 已順利導入醫學影像分析,但在特徵影像萃取與判讀仍有其限制,需依賴臨床學者的指導,以及臨床不熟悉AI的運算,造成工程師與其溝通的障礙,瞭解醫學影像成像原理則可輔助資訊學者萃取主要的診斷特徵。 (Artificial intelligence has been successfully introduced into medical image analysis. However, there are still limitations in the extraction and interpretation of features. It needs guidance from experts in the clinic. Moreover, the clinical experts are unfamiliar with the process of artificial intelligence, which may cause obstacles in communication between engineers and clinical experts. Understanding the principles of medical imaging can assist computer science in extracting the main diagnostic features.) 2. 此課程站在資訊領域的角度學習臨床影像系統的物理原理、儀器、影像特性、重建原理。醫學成像系統包含:X光、電腦斷層、超音波、核子醫學、磁振造影、內視鏡影像等。另,課程中亦將臨床研究中所進行的紅外光成像與共焦顯微成像技術來進行說明。 (This course aims to learn the physical principles, instrumentations, image characteristics, and reconstructive principles of medical imaging systems from the perspective of the computer science field. Medical imaging systems include X-ray, computer tomography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, endoscopic imaging, etc. Meanwhile, this course also introduces the recent developing technology of clinical imaging, e.g. functional imaging of the brain by infrared radiation and Reflectance confocal microscopy imaging of skin lesions.) 3. 因應人體研究法之頒布,以及醫學影像之相關研究適用該法,研究主持人實施研究前應擬訂計畫,經倫理審查委員會審查通過,始得為之。為此,課程會安排兩周簡述醫學影像成像與分析研究時,人體研究計劃書該注意之事項,供學子後續利用。 (Due to the promulgation of the Human Subjects Research Act in Taiwan, the principal investigator (PI) of medical imaging and analysis research shall follow this law. Before conduct research, the PI shall submit the research protocol for review and approval by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Research Ethics Committee for Human Subject Protection (REC). In this course, a six-hour sub-course will briefly describe the matters needing attention in the IRB/REC plan during medical imaging and analysis research for the following-up use of students.)
