概述
The objective of this course is to give a survey of mathematical methods for the solution of problems in the applied sciences and engineering. In particular, the following topics will be covered: 1. Green's functions 2. Method of eigenfunction expansions 3. Calculus of variations 4. Perturbation methods
先修科目
Linear algebra; Analysis; Differential equations.

Homework assignments (25%); three exams(75%).
