Course Description: This course will provide students with an overview of the business planning process that will enable them to define, develop, and promote innovative initiatives on the creation of a new venture. In this course, students will acquire a greater understanding of the entrepreneurial process – a process of opportunity recognition, resource marshalling, and team building driven by communication, creativity, and leadership. In the end of the course, students will learn not only how to prepare a new start-up but also how to think and act like entrepreneurs in their daily life. Objectives/Goals: Students in this course shall: Identifying new venture opportunities (versus ideas), Evaluating the viability of a new venture, Determining customer needs and developing a competitive value proposition, Understanding which skills are necessary for success and building a team that possesses those attributes, andBe superior opportunity assessors and shapers, Understand the integration of people and process in entrepreneurship, Be able to write, articulate, and present a feasibility study that logically determines whether or not a particular business idea should be pursued, Have a better understanding of your personal entrepreneurial capacity
Required competence or courses that must be previously taken by students: Financial Accounting, Managerial Statistics, Marketing Management

Assessment: Individual Attendance Participation1 20 % Assignments2 80 % Total 100 % 1. The teaching assistant will track class participation every week. You are graded on quality rather than quantity. As a rule of thumb, you will earn 0/20 if you're absent, 10/20 for being present but saying nothing and 20/20 for exceptional performance. * One absence is allowed without influencing score. * If a student fails to attend the course less than 2/3 of sessions, (s)he will fail the course automatically regardless of scores in other parts. 2.
