In this course, selected research papers from conference proceedings and journals will be discussed. These papers will cover research topics relating to Decision Support Systems, Supply Chain Management, Financial Information Systems, Knowledge Management, Business Communications, Information Systems, Information Technology and E-commerce, etc. Through paper presentation and discussion, students will understand the essentials and business practices of information management and develop core research skills of literature analysis, innovation and communication.

The main objective of this course is to explore research topics on information technology and contemporary managerial thinking of information management. This course will cover the essentials and techniques of information system management as well as business practices and applications. In addition, this course also emphasizes on training student’s capability of independent study and research. Individual interactions and discussions with thesis advisors are required for each student. Students are encouraged to discuss their research progress with their advisors weekly.
