The class focuses on the Pinyin system, and intonation, and aims to build basic abilities of Chinese speaking and listening. The course will train students to use basic conversation in their daily life and to immerse in a Chinese-speaking environment. Through class activities, students will be able to ask simple questions and improve their basic communication skills.
No Chinese background is required for this course.
Lectures, class activities, group discussion, and task-based learning Course policy: 1. The lecturer reserves the right to drop and reject the students who miss the first and/ or second class. 2. Complete assignments on time. Late homework will not be accepted. 3. The lecturer reserves the right to make changes to the course schedule based on the progress of the class and other unexpected circumstances.
