The course will cover fundamental concepts of energy conversion, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, renewable energy and the latest energy technologies. The goal is to provide some backgrounds in energy technologies and visions of energy, environments, and economics for future research and developments
Basic calculus, physics, and optics.
1. 上課使用自製的投影片教學,並提供投影片檔案給學生列印。 2. 這一門課要花時間作期末專題(老師指定題目,供同學抽籤,每年的題目不同),請同學考慮修課的負荷。 3. Course Time: 14:00-16:50 starting from the 3rd week。 如果要作期末專題的話,會找星期四晚上補課(四下午+四晚上) 4. The topic for Oral Presentation should be approved by the teacher to ensure the quality. 5. 作業請勿抄襲。
Final Exam (Open Books): 20% Projects: 40% Oral Presentations: 20% Homework (1 or 2): 20 %
